At age 38 and on his eighth team as a professional, Jerry Stackhouse isn't playing or scoring as much as he used to.
But on Saturday the oldest player on the Brooklyn Nets roster found his own special way to contribute.
Before the Nets' first-round game against the Chicago Bulls, the franchise's first postseason contest in Brooklyn, Stackhouse belted out the national anthem in front of a sellout crowd of 17,732 people.
And get this -- he's actually not bad.
Singing the national anthem was probably the highlight of the night for Stackhouse, as he finished the game with a rather forgettable line: 0-for-3 from the floor in 12 minutes of action with two rebounds and one turnover.
This isn't the first time Stackhouse has taken the mic before the game. He did it when he was a member of the Dallas Mavericks and the Milwaukee Bucks.
