Apparently the dysfunction of the New York Knicks extends beyond the team's league-worst record to the team's celebrity fans.
During a break in the action of Sunday's game at Madison Square Garden between the Knicks and the Cavaliers, MSG reporter Jill Martin interviewed actor Justin Bartha. Things went haywire quickly as Bartha, who is best known for his role in The Hangover trilogy, put his arm around Martin and turned the interview into a referendum on his Hangover co-star Bradley Cooper.
For the record, Bartha got married in January 2014 and his wife gave birth to the couple's first child in April of that year.
The Knicks' play was just as unfortunate as Bartha's interview, as LeBron James and the Cavaliers crushed the Knicks, 101-83. It was a loss so disgusting, in the words of president of basketball operations Phil Jackson, that it gave the basketball gods heartburn.
