Listen: If Shaq were afraid to embarrass himself, he wouldn't be Shaq.
But embracing Shaquille O'Neal for who he is sometimes means accepting that nothing makes sense. That's the best mindset for viewing Shaq's latest project: a fake commercial for a pop covers album that doesn't exist.
Outside of the very obvious association being created by having Shaq sing while wearing Kings gear, it's hard to understand what the goal of the video is. The one-minute segment makes several pitches to buy Shaq's non-existent album, directing viewers to a non-functional telephone number.
While Shaq's renditions of both Katy Perry's "I Kiss a Girl" and TLC's "Waterfalls" do seem to be performed in jest, it would appear he's making a sincere effort to sing Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines."
But the extra effort makes it no less horrifying:
There is bad news, though: At this moment, Shaq's faux album is not for sale.
