For Monday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a reporter asked random people about the most impressive thing they have ever done. Sounds pretty generic, right? Luckily, this is America, where people say the most ridiculous things.
A now-famous subject answers with little hesitancy: "Cheat on my boyfriend, not have him find out."
It gets better. The woman insists she cheated with Tampa Bay Lightning All-Star Tyler Johnson. She never says Johnson's name, but the woman gives enough clues for the ABC crew to figure it out:
1. "The guy was a famous athlete."
2. Initials: "T.J."
3. What sport does he play? "Hockey"
4. What team does he play for? "Tampa Bay."
According to Sports Illustrated, Tyler Johnson is the only guy with the initials, T.J., to have ever played for the Lightening in its 23-year history.
This video is amazing on so many levels. The woman could've cut the interview short on multiple occasions, yet she hangs in there. She knows her stuff, realizing that Johnson is famous -- his 13 goals were the most in last season's Stanley Cup playoffs -- and he plays for Tampa Bay.
The girl implies she has a current boyfriend, post-Johnson affair. "Sorry, Ben," she says to her old boyfriend.
"Sorry, Tyler," Kimmel says to the 25-year-old forward.
Does Johnson deserve the apology? Did he do anything wrong? Did he know she had a boyfriend?

“I have no idea who she is or why what was said was said. People can talk but (that) doesn’t mean it’s true.’’ - Johnson #tblightning

For Johnson, this news comes at an inopportune time. The Lightning, last year's NHL runner-up, opens the season Thursday night at home against the Flyers.
