Some analyst said that had Jadeveon Clowney, South Carolina's super-athletic defensive end, been eligible for this year's NFL draft, he would have gone first overall.
That's high praise for Clowney, a 20-year-old rising junior who is perhaps most famous for this bone-crushing hit on Michigan's Vincent Smith in the Outback Bowl.
And it didn't take Clowney long to show why NFL teams are drooling over him. During South Carolina's first practice of the 2013 season, Clowney (wearing No. 7) was participating in a drill when he actually flipped a blocking sled (with some help from defensive end Gerald Dixon). That's right, he put a metal blocking sled on its back.
Imagine what he can do to offensive linemen.

It's unclear what this particular blocking sled weighed (different sleds have different measurements), but based on other models, this one was likely several hundred pounds. Some blocking sleds come with platforms for coaches to stand on, but this one clearly doesn't. And after this maneuver, that's probably for the best.
No wonder Jay-Z is reportedly looking to sign Clowney to his new sports agency. This guy is the real deal.
