Cracker Jacks, hot dogs and ice cream are ballpark foods that seem so quaint now. Baseball stadiums now thrive on the outlandish nature of certain menu items to drive concession sales. The Texas Rangers have been leaders in offering big and bold food choices, and their latest concoctions live up to the team's reputation.

The Kaboom Kabob and the Tanaco are among items that will be added to the menu at Globe Life Park in Arlington in the next few weeks, according to a Dallas Morning News report.

The Kaboom Kabob is 24 inches of chicken and vegetables on a skewer. The Tanaco is 2-foot-long hard-shell taco filled with beef and chicken and covered in cheese and other nacho toppings. Both items are sure to challenge the waistlines of ballpark patrons.

Other new selections from the Rangers include the bacon waffle on a stick, bulgogi beef sandwich and poutine nachos, adopted from a popular dish made with gravy and french fries.
