Taylor Hicks can relate to college football programs competing for a national championship.
One bad performance would have doomed Hicks, who won season five of American Idol in 2006. While college teams can advance to the national championship with a loss -- Hicks' Auburn Tigers did it this year -- there's an enormous amount of pressure on teams each week to not suffer a letdown.
In a recent interview Hicks discussed Auburn's miracle season and gave his pick for the Super Bowl.
