Jessica Hardy, a gold medalist in swimming at the 2012 London Olympics, recently lost and found her engagement ring in the span of one half hour.
And she can thank Twitter for the assist.
After she finished competing at the FINA World Championships in Barcelona, Hardy handed her backpack to one of the event's volunteers. The only problem was Hardy had forgotten to take her ring out.

With the competition over and Hardy on her way out of Barcelona, she didn't have much time to spare.

Fortunately for Hardy her tweeting may have saved her. Half an hour after posting her original message, she sent this out:
