Bulls (second half team total of 42 1/2 points) at Hawks.

If I have said it once, I have said it a million times: One can pretty much bet on anything these days and that includes a team total in the second half of an NBA game. In this case, it was Tuesday's night game from Philips Arena involving the Bulls and Hawks.

The game itself was a laugher as Chicago led 72-43 at the half. The Hawks were a 5 1/2-point second-half favorite but that isn't the point of this beat. Da Bulls' team total for the second half was 42 1/2 points, meaning you could either go over or under that believing that Derrick Rose' team would either wind up scoring over or under 114 1/2 points in the end.

The score was 114-69 after one of two free throws were made by reserve Omer Asik. He missed one of them but there was still 5:58 on the clock -- half of the fourth quarter -- to still be played.

I'm going to skip the filler and just say this ...

Final score: 114-81.

This may be the worst beat I have ever seen!
