Christopher Allen Sale was born March 30, 1989.

At the young age of 26, Sale has become one of the best pitchers in all of baseball. He went 12-4 with a 2.17 ERA in 2014 and finished third in Cy Young voting.

Sale is only beginning his fourth year starting for the White Sox, but he holds a 2.79 ERA and 40 wins in the previous three years. He's known for his deadly slider that is one of his favorite two-strike pitches.

This year, Sale will pair with Jeff Samardzija to make up a strong front end of the rotation.
