Bert Blyleven was born April 6, 1951.

Blyleven finished his 22-year career with 287 wins and 3,701 strikeouts. He played for six different teams, but spent the most time with the Minnesota Twins.

He won the 1987 World Series with the Twins, winning Game 2. Some 19 years after his career ended, Blyleven was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2011.
