Joel Quenneville

Joel Quenneville was born September 15, 1958.

Quenneville has been coach of the Blackhawks since 2008, and he guided the team to three Stanley Cup championships (2010, 2013 and 2015).

Chicago is the third NHL club that Quenneville has coached. He led the Blues to the playoffs in seven of his first eight seasons in St, Louis, including a Presidents' Trophy in 2000 when he was voted NHL coach of the year. He spent three seasons with Colorado before joining the Blackhawks.

As a player, Quenneville played 14 seasons as a defenseman, mostly with the Hartford Whalers. He scored a career-high 10 goals with the Colorado Rockies in 1980-81.
