Jake Arrieta has been half-man, half-superhero in Chicago the past few months. The dude had a 0.37 ERA from Aug. 1 through the NL Wild Card Game, striking out 100 batters and walking just 14 in that span. In Game 3 of the NLDS, he gave up four earned runs in 5.2 innings, but who cares? The Cubs still won and after winning Game 4, they're are going to the NLCS.
And Arrieta cannot stop partying.
Here is Arrieta's 3-year-old son pouring champagne down his throat:

Oh, yeah. This is not even the first time they did that. Cooper Arrieta drenched his father in Pittsburgh.
Arrieta's champagne endeavors continued after exiting Wrigley Field. Taking one look at the faces of Cubs fans who have spent their whole lives losing, he handed the bottle over to the crowd.
Party on, Chicago. You beat the Cardinals! The city is treating every win like Game 7 of the World Series and it is awesome. So was Arrieta's meeting the kid with the pitcher's face cut into his hair.

Game 1 of the NLCS will be Saturday in either Los Angeles or New York with Arrieta expected to start on four days rest. Game 5 of the other NLDS series is Thursday at Dodger Stadium.
