Paris Saint-Germain, the premier professional soccer team in Paris, has been a rallying point for the community in the wake of terrorist attacks on the city. Shortly after the attacks, the club decided to place a "Je Suis Paris" emblem on its jerseys.
The team later scrapped its regular uniforms for a full kit dedicated to the memory of those lost in the attacks.
Now, the team has released a two-part video that brings the global soccer community together for a moving tribute. Major stars Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney, Neymar and Ronaldo are among 52 individuals, including non-soccer stars such as Andre Agassi, Tony Parker, Maria Sharapova and Carl Lewis, appearing in the film. Their roles are minor -- each says a version of "Je Suis Paris" in their own languages -- but the cumulative effort is impressive.
PSG also held a moment of silence at the first home game since the attacks.

Given soccer's role in the attacks -- suicide bombers attempted to detonate devices inside the Stade de France during an international match between France and Germany -- the strong support from the soccer community carries extra weight as Paris and France work toward recovery. With any luck, soccer will provide an outlet for healing.
