Sacramento Kings Dancing Kid

The Kings have had nine straight lifeless losing seasons since making the playoffs in 2006. But this offseason, new general manager Vlade Divac and new head coach George Karl actually did stuff, like putting together an actual roster of respectable talent.

And this kid is hyped.

When the Kings win and it’s Friday tomorrow...

Do you expect anything less after bringing in veterans Rajon Rondo, Marco Belinelli and Caron Butler to complement a roster of DeMarcus Cousins, Rudy Gay, Darren Collison and Ben McLemore? Or after drafting Willie Cauley-Stein? Or after signing two-time D-League All-Star Seth Curry? Or after rolling the dice on the flamboyant Marshall Henderson?

OK, so maybe Karl will never get along with his players and this already sad franchise will hit rock bottom. Or maybe the Kings will reach their ceiling, which would be something like claiming the eight seed in the Western Conference and a five-game first-round exit to the Warriors.

At least this kid has some energy in the preseason. Not sure why he whipped and did Nae Nae to that song, but we digress.

The Kings beat the Spurs, 95-92, in the actual game.
