Terron Beckham's biggest claim to fame might be his relationship to Odell Beckham Jr. But the NFL star's cousin is hoping to change that: He's making an all-out push for a roster spot in the NFL.
Physically, he looks the part. Terron looks a lot like OBJ. Actually, scratch that: He looks like he ate OBJ.
If he makes it into the NFL, though, Terron will have done so by taking a very unconventional path. According to CBS New York, the 23-year-old hasn't played football in five years. Instead, he's worked as a fitness trainer and model.
But the 5-foot-11, 230-pound hunk of chiseled boulder thinks he has what it takes to stick in professional football. The former high school running back described to CBS New York his sales pitch to NFL teams:
"They're going to get a workhorse," Terron says. "They're going to get Marshawn Lynch and [Adrian Peterson] transformed into one person."
Quite the package deal, indeed.
Of course, if the NFL thing doesn't pan out, he's got plenty of career options ahead of him. There's always modeling and fitness, of course. But he could also play a convincing Incredible Hulk, or as the man who comes to kill you in your sleep.
Either way, we pity the fool who has to tell him if he doesn't make an NFL team.
