Stephen Curry

Remember a week ago when the NBA 2K series couldn't keep up with Stephen Curry? He didn't make things any easier this weekend.

In a 121-118 overtime win at the Thunder, Curry scored 46 points on 14-for-24 shooting (12-for-16 from three-point range). He tied an NBA-record for triples in a game and surpassed his own season three-point record, setting the new bar at 288 three-pointers -- and there are still 24 games to go.

If those numbers weren't enough, Curry capped off his performance with a 38.4-foot game-winner.

A YouTube user, Shady00018, has blessed us with another version of Curry's shot: the 2K model. And it is glorious.

Shady00018 took the time to put the right players on the floor, with the right jerseys in the right venue. The user makes sure Russell Westbrook misses a shot, followed by an Andre Iguodala rebound and dish to Curry.

If we're going to get picky, Iguodala catches the rebound much farther from the hoop on the real play and Curry takes his shot from even deeper than he did (as we know, the percentages even for Curry at 38.4 feet are so low, the user probably would have been working on perfecting the play for a long time). Also, on the 2K edition, it is Westbrook that Curry stares down, while in reality it was Andre Roberson getting burned by the baby-faced assassin.

Of course, the bench celebration is not identical, but 2K triggers an eerily reminiscent ecstasy from Curry and the Warriors. Kudos to Shady 00018 for keeping the Mike Breen call.
