Jim Harbaugh is still in his first season as Michigan head coach, yet he's a constant topic of NFL head coaching rumors. People find it hard to believe a man who made three NFC championship games in four years could stay out of the league for long.
Meanwhile, Harbaugh seems at home back on his college stomping grounds. Facing his first game coaching against Ohio State this weekend, Harbaugh smashed a Buckeye nut in front of Bo Schembechler's grave.

Schembechler coached the Wolverines from 1969-1989 and won 13 Big Ten titles. He went 11-9-1 against the Buckeyes.
Harbaugh played for Schembechler, who passed away in 2006, during his tenure at Michigan from 1982-1986. Harbaugh also had nice things to say at Schembechler's Ann Arbor gravesite.

At the graveyard, Harbaugh honored Chad Carr, the 5-year-old grandson of former Michigan quarterback Jason Carr. Chad passed away on Monday after a year-long battle with brain cancer.

According to Maize n Brew, more than 200 Wolverine fans were present at the gathering.
Saturday's game has huge implications both for neighboring fan bases and the national playoff picture. Michigan and Ohio State are currently ranked No. 10 and No. 8 respectively in the College Football Playoff Rankings. With Michigan fighting for a New Year's Six bowl game, and Ohio State holding on to hopes of a Big Ten Championship Game spot or even a College Football Playoff spot, Ann Arbor figures to be rocking.
