Julian Edelman's Shakespearean Return

To play or not to play? That was Julian Edelman's question. Or at least, that is how he probably imagined it.

Edelman announced his return from injury Monday on Twitter. He posted a Shakespeare quote:

Edelman has not played since Week 10 against the Giants when he suffered a Jones Fracture to his left foot. Edelman underwent surgery and had a screw implanted in his foot. He will wear a steel plate in his cleat Saturday against the Chiefs.

Edelman's Shakespearean tweet is a quote from Henry V, and Edelman's hands are raised like a V in the photo. Here is the cinematic version:

Edelman is a creative social media user. The day before the Patriots opened the season against the Steelers, he posted a hype video to YouTube narrated by a Patrick Henry speech.

Edelman had 61 receptions for 692 yards and seven touchdowns before his injury ended his regular season. Now, Tom Brady has his top wide receiver target back.
