Latrell Sprewell became such a poster child for athletes who blew their millions that he even starred in Priceline commercial in which he mocks himself by dispensing the wrong kind of life advice to a youngster.
In keeping with this theme, Sprewell's former home in New York is now available for a "hefty discount," according to Julio Lara of Realtor.com.
The six-bedroom mansion is being sold by the bank that seized the property. Given the bank's list price of $1.5 million compared to the $2.3 million that Sprewell paid for it in 2000, this property is for "potential bargain hunters."
